Letter: Apologies for inappropriate advertising content

Editor: Last week we ran an advertisement that, in an attempt in a bit of edgy humour, was unintentionally hurtful and offensive to some Outlook readers. We are truly sorry.

Last week we ran an advertisement that, in an attempt in a bit of edgy humour, was unintentionally hurtful and offensive to some Outlook readers.

We are truly sorry.

Our company has always been driven by the desire to serve our customers and we are saddened by the knowledge that we have disappointed some of you.

In our effort to be unique and get noticed in our advertising, we missed the mark on last week's ad and do sincerely appreciate the feedback on how people felt.

We have always embraced positive feedback in our work, but more importantly, we have welcomed all feedback from our clientele as this helps us focus on where we need to improve as people and a company.

We are a service-based company and we strive to service our clientele in the best possible way, but offending people along the way while doing so has never been our goal.

For that we are truly sorry.
