LETTER: Congratulations to all graduates

Editor: Kudos to you! I am deeply proud of anyone who graduates during these unique times. And I am especially proud of my First Nations neighbours, as I know this year in particular has included unique challenges for you.

Editor:

Kudos to you!

I am deeply proud of anyone who graduates during these unique times. And I am especially proud of my First Nations neighbours, as I know this year in particular has included unique challenges for you.

I read the Rocky Mountain Outlook's "Congratulations to our Grads" section in the June 23 edition, keenly looking for your names and faces to feel my deep pride and appreciation and respect of you in my heart. My pride in you is large.

I grew up with wonderful First Nations classmates, with whom I walked to and fro school. Other First Nations classmates lived out of town and thus came in by bus.

My respect of everyone as my peers was evidently felt. I so deeply appreciated the love and mutual trust between us. I could say more ...

Suffice it to say, I am extremely proud of you!

Ariole K. Alei,

Canmore
