LETTER: Conservative Alberta values being left behind

Editor:

I never thought that I would see the day that I would want to see an Alberta Conservative Party go the way of the Dodo bird or the Social Credit Party, but that’s how I feel today. Our family proudly supported the conservatives under Lougheed and Getty.

Lougheed’s energy minister Bill Dickie was a brother in-law of one of my uncles. My parents donated around $30,000 to their party and were pleased to do so.

But apparently the Conservative Party wasn’t smart enough to keep out their enemy and allowed the Reformers to get control and look at the horrific mess they have created, as Lougheed called it.

Watching them deliberately destroy all the good Lougheed and his MLAs had created has been sickening to watch and they have destroyed our children’s future.

It all started with Ralph Klein and even his daughter Angie and father Phil tried to help us vote him out.
