LETTER: Future decisions should protect the landscape, wildlife

I have lived in Canmore for over three years with my family and will say the most important reason we moved our family here was for the small town feel and love of nature.

I think as humans, we have a responsibility to safeguard nature and wildlife not only for our children, but for all the animals and plant life.

There will never be a time when we don't need tourism or tax revenue for ourselves and our town. However, we need to start looking to the future and how our current actions will affect all around us.

The world is starting to make changes to address climate change. I feel we should make a change to sustainability with the land and those living entities that share this wonderful world around us.

Thank you for listening to one man's voice and please consider all the silent voices that the Three Sisters Mountain Village Development would impact.

Thank you so much for your time.

Daniel Rubner,

Canmore
