Thanks to all who put together this year's Canada Day celebrations. They were better than ever.
The parade was excellent with many creative entries. While watching, I was most disappointed to learn there would be no continuation of the festivities in Centennial Park, so we wandered to Main Street and discovered the party in full force. It was a festive and good time.
The shops were busy with curious customers, the restaurants had brisk business and the mid-afternoon music left everyone dancing and singing along to familiar songs.
I hope we can continue this "new" tradition for Canada Day. It was a wonderful community party and a great way to celebrate this special day.
