The photo in the Oct. 26 Rocky Mountain Outlook of the Old Crag Cabin as part of the story on the Banff Heritage Action Plan brought many memories for me.
My late husband Pat Patterson and I served during the Second World War in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Returning to Canada, we purchased the Cabin to set up a locksmith business. He had to make numerous trips to the Banff ski resorts to unlock vehicles in the parking lots.
We eventually sold the Cabin to a woman who wanted to develop it for a gift store. It is flourishing and gets many tourists to her store.
