When I was driving past the Railway Avenue and Benchlands and Bow Valley trails intersection July 8 and crossing the Trans-Canada Highway overpass, I was in the right lane approaching Palliser and Benchlands trails intersection.

The car on my left went straight through the intersection toward Cougar Creek Drive.

I survived that one, but kept watching the car behind who literally drove 15-feet before the first turn to Cougar Creek and turned on her signal.

The Town of Canmore should put bigger and better signage at these intersections and on Elk Run Boulevard near the upper Lady Macdonald turn. I live in the area and I bet four out of 10 cars stay in the right lane and go straight through.

Canmore
