No, we should not scour the landscape in an attempt to erase every remnant of history that doesn’t conform to the militant progressivism of the moment.

The history of Canada also includes the history of the people that brought the Great Pacific Railway across the continent, that established the foundation upon which was built one of the most advanced, peaceful, democratic, and prosperous countries in the world.

The authors of the current moment should perhaps reflect on these facts before demanding the erasure of every aspect of history that doesn’t measure up to their own towering sanctimony.
