Blair Richardson’s open letter in the Nov. 2 Outlook is outrageous.
This most recent iteration of the Three Sisters Mountain Village Properties Limited saga has been characterized by an assault on democracy when the Town and community’s wishes were ignored, and a forced decision to destroy continentally significant wildlife corridor and habitat at a time when climate catastrophe is no longer a distant prospect. That is the beginning and the end of what is relevant.
With respect to the peaceful vigil in Calgary, that only occurred because the processes that are supposed to uphold our democracy failed.
It is painfully clear the era of profit over people and the planet must end.
