I’m so happy that the Town of Canmore and Bow Kor Excavating responded so much more quickly than I did in writing this letter to compliment them.
In the Peaks of Grassi on Dec. 22, we woke up to 16 inches of deep, fresh snow.
Before most people had shoveled their driveways, the Town's grader plowed the first pass through by 9 a.m. The grader made three more passes, such that by 10 a.m. two-way traffic was possible without risk of getting stuck in the snow.
And if that pleasant surprise wasn’t enough, two large loaders from Bow Kor arrived about noon and by 2 p.m. that afternoon had cleared all of the snow on the roads from curb to curb. The loader operators were both friendly and efficient.
That fantastic snow dump was an early Christmas present, made so much more enjoyable because it was all cleared from the roads up here within hours.
Kudos to both the Town of Canmore Public Works and Bow Kor.
