Last month, Bow Valley Connections Centre hosted our second annual carnival for youth and children with neurodiversity at the Canmore Recreation Centre field. The Razzle Dazzle Carnival was an afternoon event of homemade games, music and entertainment.
On behalf of the board, I’d like to thank the community at large for showing such support and enthusiasm for our event. We were genuinely touched by the families who expressed their gratitude at an event designed for their children’s enjoyment and ease.
We are proud of our neurodiverse members who showed themselves to be wonderful hosts and helped many kids smile and our volunteers who helped us make this event happen.
As a local non-profit organization in the Bow Valley, we aim to provide social and community connections for our residents with neurodiversity in fun and creative ways. We are buoyed by the success of this event to continue to provide this opportunity for the future. We can’t wait to do it again next year.
