What an event the Masters World Cup was and a thank you to all volunteers. The organizing committee put on an impeccable series of races. It's hard and dedicated work made this Masters World Cup a world-class event.
My thank you goes to the more than 200 volunteers who helped out with the smooth running of the races. You were out there day after day with big, happy smiles on your faces. You were encouraging, supportive, helpful and hard working.
The athletes from all over the world noticed your kindness and they commented how unique you were. From the more than 700 participants from 18 different countries: a heartfelt thank you, volunteers. You make Canmore proud and you shine as wonderful ambassadors for our beautiful country.
