Just a note to draw to the public's attention that the two photos of kayakers on Two Jack Lake from the June 9 Outlook made me take notice of the absence of lifejackets.

Most water accidents are unanticipated and mountain lakes that are cold add even more risk to survival. Children are most vulnerable and drownings happen even when a boat is nearby as an individual may not be able to hang on to the boat due to panic or exposure to the cold water. Debbie Sanderson,
