Editor: With research showing demise of neighbourhoods surrounding gambling establishments, I’m wondering what other ideas this creative Canmore can muster in place of Silvertip’s proposed gaming facility that would generate revenue needed by investors to the project.

Suppose, for instance, the entire conference venue proceeds as planned, sans casino and instead with something else, also revenue generating, which is more aligned to a neighbourhood-friendly desired future.
