Tennis trial, seriously?

We all know living here is expensive and I’m fortunate to have moved here before the boom.

Coffee costs $5, a bagel $10 and housing costs will make your jaw drop. So now, on top of all the costs, the Town is going to line their pockets with tennis court fees.

What’s next? Are they going to charge us every time we use a biking trail?

It’s outrageous. Especially knowing where our money goes. Big heads, toilet rolls and other ghastly looking abstract art that obstructs the scenery everybody is here for.

Can’t we just be courteous citizens who allow one another access to the courts? What happened to being part of a community? Now we will relinquish the few free delights that were left to the elite that can afford to stay here once the bill comes in at the end of the month.

If the Town’s plan is to push out all the locals and replace us with Calgary part-timers and transient seasonal workers, they’re doing a great job.

Aggy Hery,
