If you don’t already appreciate living in Canmore, here are some reminders of why we should all appreciate this fine mountain town.
The hospital, with caring staff such as Dr. Fair and team, has saved my kids numerous times with care and attention unseen in other hospitals. The concentration of genuine and intelligent people in Canmore is uniquely high; the Save-On pharmacist and his wife who kindly went above and beyond, the supportive families in the athletic community, music community, mountain guiding community, the ACC and the arts community are a few examples.
There are many unsung heroes and community builders such as the person who made and maintains the skating area on Grotto Pond. The Rocky Mountain Outlook is a community builder and binder which contains insightful, in-depth and eloquent pieces which should be an example for other newspapers.
Thank you to all who make Canmore great. Your generosity of spirit and commitment to community doesn’t go un-noticed and is much appreciated.
