I’d like to take this opportunity to thank two groups of people who help enhance our walking and bicycling experience in Canmore and area.
Thank you to the dog owners of Canmore who keep their dogs on leash and who clean up after them. The rest of us appreciate being able to enjoy the wonderful paths of Canmore and the surrounding parks in comfort and without anxiety.
We appreciate being able to walk through this beautiful environment without having to smell and see dog excrement beside the paths. Thank you for being respectful of the rest of us.
Thank you to the drivers who stop for pedestrians waiting at crosswalks. Being able to safely cross our busy roadways enhances our walks and bike rides.
To the small number of dog owners and drivers who do not fit into the above mentioned groups, please, as you go about your day, consider the rest of us and show some respect.
