Thank you to the Good Samaritans who stopped Friday (Jan. 20) night and helped my son who lost control on black ice near Lac des Arcs and ended up in the ditch.
Thank you first to the polite officer who stopped to see if he was OK and stayed while he tried to get out unsuccessfully.
Thank you to the gentleman who offered to help shove or push. And, finally, to the gentleman from the air cadet squadron in Canmore who pulled us out.
We were in the white Blazer, you had a full-size one ton pickup.
To all of you, consider yourselves hugged. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.
