The Canmore management team deserve a compliment for opting for a modern roundabout for traffic control at Benchlands Trail and Elk Run Boulevard.
In doing this they have made the air we breath cleaner – less idling, the corner is safer, cars have to slow down, they saved money by having no annual maintenance costs for traffic lights and improved traffic flow for both cars and cyclists.
Kudos to Canmore and we hope this progressive thinking and action will lead to more roundabouts and less traffic lights for Canmore’s future.
