Dear Canmore Fire Rescue, EMS, Canmore Hospital emergency trauma care, nurses who were cycling nearby and other cyclists and passers-by …

On Aug. 5, our beloved Bob collapsed while enjoying the view at the Valley View picnic site along the Legacy Trail. Although he did not survive, we are forever grateful for the immediate response and heroic efforts of those who came to our aid.

To everyone who helped – those who performed CPR, those who called 9-1-1 and waited on the highway to meet emergency vehicles, those who helped us get our bikes, gear, and friends back to Canmore, the EMS crews from Canmore and Banff, the Canmore fire department’s first responders, the Emergency Care and Trauma Support team at Canmore Hospital – his family and friends thank you for your kindness and quick action. We are forever grateful.

The family and friends of Bob Braden,

Alberta
