This letter is intended as a public acknowledgement of the thank you that I owe to Marc Breau, Town of Banff streets supervisor.
Thank you for responding to my action request, No. 1221, submitted on March 16.
I am particularly grateful that the operations department has created a standard operating procedure (SOP) detailing specific times on schooldays (the hour between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. as well as lunch time and departure time at the end of school) during which snow removal operations cannot take place in the vicinity of the Banff Elementary School. Each operator will be required to read, understand and sign off on this SOP.
I look forward to having to deal with one less distraction on the days when I take my little sweetiepie to kindergarten.
