I attended the Wednesday performance of BCHS’s performance of Avenue Q. I attended because I was in a school band many years ago, so felt I should support the local high school musical efforts.
I am so glad I did. The experience was totally enjoyable – I enjoyed the performance immensely. The singing was reminiscent of Sesame Street, as was skilful use of puppets. I also admire the bravery of the teachers in bringing such controversial and critically important issues to the high school stage.
Well done, teachers and students of BCHS.
