This summer I’ve heard, read and seen many notices and reminders to remove buffalo berries, fruit/fruit trees, all bear attractants from residential property for public and wildlife safety.
What is sadly missing is a plan as to where/when this vital food source (buffalo berry shrubs) for our Bow Valley bears will be replenished. I would gladly volunteer this fall and/or spring to replant and help replace what we’ve taken.
