Editor: The engine bridge is a draw for tourists as well as community members, and I notice that it is still closed.
It is unfortunate or untimely that it is closed at a very busy time of the season and I wonder why the work could not be done in early fall.
I did notice it was open last weekend for the folk fest, or was it for the large wedding that took place?
I am just speculating, but if so, it is unfortunate that a single wedding, probably from non-community members, is more important than a tradition of high school kids having their photos taken there.
