Editor: Who on earth allowed the eyesore that is almost touching the pavement on Bow Valley Trail, called Basecamp, to be built there, and why?

It sticks out like a sore thumb on a road where all the other businesses are set back with green space and/or parking in front. I remember when this policy was agreed upon when BVT was being developed.

Why have these developers been allowed to break the continuity of Bow Valley Trail in such a harsh manner? It looks terrible.

If the planning department is responsible for this, there should be consequences. There’s plenty of room at the rear of this monstrosity for it to have been moved back in accordance with the rest of the BVT.

Not too late as far as I’m concerned.
