“If the number of cases reaches 10 per cent of the student population in a class or across the school, we would be facing the closure of a class or the entire school,” the letter read.

The Canadian Rockies Public Schools school board unanimously passed the new COVID-19 vaccination policy that will begin Nov. 24 and see teachers, staff and adults entering school facilities show proof of vaccination or a recent negative test.

In addition to isolating students from classrooms that had a COVID-19 positive case, Canadian Rockies Public Schools are isolating classrooms with students that have been potentially exposed to the virus
