Banff bridge vandalized

The newly constructed pedestrian bridge in Banff has been vandalized and RCMP are asking for the public's help identifying who did it.

According to a press release from Banff RCMP, the detachment was informed of the damage to the bridge's lighting system in the railing of the structure by the municipality. The damage occurred at some time in the early morning hours of Oct. 26 and that a tool was used to pry the hand rail and damage the lights - damage that is estimated at over $30,000.
