Canmore cops look for suspect

Canmore RCMP are hoping members of the public will be able to assist them in identifying a suspect that stole an iPhone 10 from a local business last week. According to Sgt. Stan Andronyk, the theft occurred last Wednesday (May 9) around 3 p.m.

According to Sgt. Stan Andronyk, the theft occurred last Wednesday (May 9) around 3 p.m. when the iPhone 10 was stolen from The Source, located in Canmore Crossing at 1140 Railway Ave.

The suspect took the phone from the display at the front of the store and walked out. He is described at Caucasian, between 40 and 50 years old, approximately 5"7' tall with a heavy build.

At the time of theft, he was wearing a green shirt, black jacket, black shoes, a blue hat and a silver necklace and a surveillance photo has been provided.
