A five-year-old girl from Morley is in critical condition following a 15-foot fall on Sunday (Nov. 1).
The girl was airlifted to the Children’ s Hospital in Calgary by STARS ambulance with “massive trauma” to the head, said Cochrane RCMP Sgt. Jeff Campbell.
The girl fell approximately 15 feet from the top landing near a flight of stairs while playing at the Goodstoney Rodeo Grounds on the Stoney First Nation.
Campbell says the incident has been ruled accidental after obtaining CCTV footage that showed the girl playing with other children when it occurred.
