Lake Louise RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to locate a missing 35-year-old Edmonton man.

On Sept. 27, Jibran Khan Malik was reported missing to the Edmonton Police Service, which then began an investigation and determined Malik had travelled to Banff and Lake Louise. Since then, Lake Louise RCMP have confirmed Malik was in Lake Louise on Sept. 29.

Malik's vehicle, a dark grey 2009 Honda Accord, was located on Oct. 11 in Lake Louise and police are concerned for his well being.

Malik is described as 5 foot 8 and 180 pounds (82 kg), with brown and brown eyes.

Lake Louise RCMP ask anyone who may have seen or had contact with Jibran Malik to contact the detachment at 403-522-3812.
