Building maintenance manager

I have worked in the construction industry framing and doing renovations.I have also worked in the food and beverage industry. Beginning as a bartender and working my way up to becoming a manager and owner of both The Rose and Crown, and The Wood. For the past eight years I have worked as the Building Maintenance Manager for Stone Creek Resorts.

The way I have volunteered in the community over the past several years is by coaching Canmore minor hockey.

I have called Canmore home for my entire life.

I have chosen to run for office as I feel I have a good understanding of the needs and worries that are impacting the people, families, and business's of Canmore. I do see that there are many options available that are currently not being explored. I think it is important to bring some of these issues to the table and try and work towards realistic outcomes that benefit our community.

An open mind, exceptional listening and communication skills, and honesty. I am not afraid of hard work, and I believe that there is much worthwhile work to be done.

Attainable housing for all. Realistic parking solutions. Better traffic flow, and development. Considering carefully how each of these issues impacts our community and environment. Having a family of five I understand the importance of having a balance with these four issues We need to work hard to try and ensure tax rates don't keep sky rocketing.

I believe the greatest challenge facing Canmore and it's elected officials is to create some form of sustainablity with business, tourism, commercial and residential properties. Growth will happen whether we like it or not. However it should not degrade the town of Canmore, its citizens, or it's wildlife. I believe proper growth management will allow the town to maintain tax rates. Maintaining tax rates is only possible if we allow responsible higher commercial development. Commercial development brings with it higher tax dollars resulting in an influx of funds to the economy. This would help to reduce some of the town's debt and reduce the need for higher tax rate increases.

Well there are several ways
