A man and a woman are facing multiple charges after they were pulled over by Banff RCMP last week and found to be in possession of crystal meth, cocaine, marijuana and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Robin Ladouceur, 27, from Caslan and Aaron Goodwin, 34, from Edmonton are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and obstruction.
Both were in a brown Plymouth Neon on Sept. 11 when RCMP were conducting a checkstop at the Norquay exit. According to a press release, an officer noted the vehicle appeared to be avoiding the checkstop and they were pulled over.
During the traffic stop, the officer noted an open bottle of alcohol and drug paraphernalia. Both were remanded into custody and will appear in court at a later date.
