Kin Cheung of Hong Kong and Kwok Leung of Cranbrook B.C. entered pleas of not guilty to several charges in Canmore Provincial Court earlier this month.

An agent for defence counsel Andre Oullette set a special sitting trial for the pair on March 19-20 next year.

Court documents show Leung and Cheung were charged on Feb. 8 in Lake Louise with possession of the proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and unlawfully possessing in a national park black bear parts under the National Parks Act.

Leung is further charged under the Alberta Wildlife Act with unlawfully possessing black bear parts and with trafficking wildlife.
