Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Bow Valley Trail

A 60-year-old man suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Feb. 1. The man was crossing Bow Valley Trail near Patrino’s Steak House and Pub around 6:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was crossing Bow Valley Trail near Patrino’s Steak House and Pub around 6:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle.

According to the RCMP, it was very dark at the time of the incident and the man was not using a crosswalk.

RCMP Cpl. Sabrina Clayton said the incident is still under investigation.

“As usual with any collision we always remind people to be vigilant with cars, especially when it’s dark,” said Clayton.
