Lake Louise RCMP are investigating a stolen car that crashed and ended up in the ditch on Saturday morning (Jan. 18).
The detachment issued a press release looking for witnesses that may have stopped to assist the passengers of the vehicle or given them a ride from the scene at approximately 8 a.m. just east of Lake Louise on the Trans-Canada Highway.
It is possible the vehicle was on its side initially, but pushed back over by the occupants of the stolen vehicle or bystanders. Anyone who recalls seeing the collision or the occupants of the vehicle on the highway is asked to call the Lake Louise RCMP at 403-522-3812.
