RCMP seek B&E suspect

Banff RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the person responsible for a break and enter that occurred early  Tuesday (Feb. 7). At 4:30 a.m.

Banff RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the person responsible for a break and enter that occurred early  Tuesday (Feb. 7).
At 4:30 a.m.,   RCMP were dispatched to an alarm at the Banff Avenue Shell gas station at the intersection of Banff Avenue and Marten Street. Members responded and found significant damage had been done to the front door of the building and the ATM had been stolen. The ATM was recovered 50 meters south of the scene on Banff Avenue.
Surveillance cameras at the gas station show the suspect broke in through the front door, attached the ATM to a dark coloured F-150 with a cab cover, then pulled the ATM through the front door.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 11, wearing camouflage pants and a black Fox Racing jacket.
