Jason McQuade works the Mountain Wave on Kananaskis River, Sunday (July 9). The New Zealand native traded ocean surf for river wave when he moved to Calgary. McQuade has no issues with the unseasonably warm weather lately, as the river water has warmed up to allow for barefoot surfing.
