Trafficking charges laid after Canmore search

Canmore RCMP have charged two people with drug trafficking after executing a search warrant on their home earlier this month. According to a press release, Canmore RCMP searched a home on June 13 following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation.

According to a press release, Canmore RCMP searched a home on June 13 following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation.

During the search, RCMP seized 887 grams of marijuana, 28 grams of psilocybin and other drug related materials, including cash.

David Jeffery Ratchford, 53, and Christa Nora Ratchford, 61, were charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking of a controlled substance and possession of the proceeds of crime. Both were released and are set to appear in Canmore Provincial Court on July 13.
