UPDATE: Suspects wanted on warrants arrested, stolen vehicle still missing

While the RCMP Major Crimes Unit has decided to not publicly identify the homicide victim, it is still looking for his missing vehicle – a bronze 2013 Kia Optima with the Alberta licence plate E22 149

COCHRANE – The RCMP Major Crimes Unit has arrested two suspects in connection to a homicide investigation, but are still looking for the victim's vehicle. 

According to an RCMP press release, Trista Nadene Tinkler and Robert Gordon Daignault were arrested on outstanding warrants in Edmonton on Friday (Jan. 3). RCMP issued warrants for their arrest after a body was found near the Springbank Airport on the morning of Dec. 29 and the medical examiner determined the male was the victim of a homicide. 

RCMP, in the press release, stated they have no intention of publicly identifying the victim of the homicide, however they are looking for his vehicle – a bronze 2013 Kia Optima with the Alberta licence plate E22149. 

Tinkler and Daignault were wanted on warrants for possession of property obtained by crime, theft of a credit card and failure to appear in court. Daignault was also wanted on a warrant for resisting or obstructing a police officer.
