Six high-flying local gymnasts led the home team, displaying excellent strength and agility in each event.

Pele Christoffersson finished first in his category, thanks to six gold medals and one bronze medal performance, while teammate Jacob Baggott also finished on top of the podium in his division. Baggot won gold in the high bar and silver on the pommel horse to claim his all-around victory.

Noah Folliott won seven silver medals and finished second overall in his category, while Aidan Christoffersson was fourth overall, winning a gold medal in rings and silver on the high bar.

Quinn Webster won silver in the pommel horse and vault to finish fifth overall. Luke Fricker was sixth overall in his category.

Baggott, Webster and Aiden Christoffersson said they were thrilled to compete at home in the new facility, which they each described as “awesome.” Each said they were happy with their performance, and said their sport requires persistence, strength and mental power in order to excel.

“I like everything about it. It’s really cool to be able to do things others can’t,” Christoffersson said.
