Adventurer Dan Clark presents Simply Propelled as part of the Bow Valley Naturalist speaker series on Tuesday (Feb. 28) at 7:30 at the Banff Seniors Centre.
“Travel into the unknown frees the spirit and gives us a better perspective on ourselves, but how do we stretch our boundaries to reach this place of discovery?” asks Clark.
Join Clark for a philosophical look at adventure through the lens of family expeditions from the Arctic to the Andes.
Clark is a hiking guide, educator and adventurer who grew up near the Rockies and discovered himself on lengthy ski traverses and high-altitude climbs. His progression as a person, husband and father continues on northern canoe trips and cycling journeys in the Americas.
He and his family are currently based in Kimberly, B.C. This event is free and everyone is welcome.
