New Year’s Eve Party on the Pond in Canmore

The night features festive activities that include live music, a pyrotechnics show, bonfires, skating, hot chocolate and local food vendors. Party on the Pond begins at 5:30 p.m. Elk Run and Riot will be performing at 7:40 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. A pyrotechnics show will take place at 8 p.m. The night ends with fireworks at midnight in Millennium Park.

Sheepdog Brewing New Year’s Eve Party!

Tickets are $40 and include entry, a pint, Red Rock Pizza and salads and live music from Christina Ebel. The party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Resolution Flow: A Journey from Head to Heart with Erwin Evans at The Yoga Lounge Canmore

Featuring a special New Year’s Eve event, the studio will have live drummers and prizes on hand to celebrate the holiday. The event runs from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $45.

New Year’s Eve Masquerade at the Malcolm Hotel Canmore

Ring in the New Year in style to the tunes of the Electric Squirrels. The evening begins at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 7 p.m. and the dancing begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $149 per person.

Yuks Yuk’s New Year’s Eve Comedy Night at Tank310

Hosted by the Grizzly Paw Brewing Company and Tank310, the show begins at 10 p.m.

Three ticket levels are available. The $45 Dad Joke Ticket (includes a ticket, 1 beer and party favours), The $50 Chuckle Ticket (includes two pints, or glass of wine, and party favours) and the Kneeslapper Ticket (includes four drinks, two tickets, party favours and a charcuterie board).

Canmore Legion 2020 New Year with Something Fishy

The festivities begin at 8 p.m. at the Canmore Legion. Tickets are $30.

Banff New Year’s Eve Celebration

Check out the main stage at the intersection of Banff Avenue and Wolf Street. The night begins at 7 p.m. with opening remarks and a fire show. At 7:15 p.m. a narrated dance demonstration with Blackfoot Medicine Speaks will take place.

At 7:45 p.m. there will be a fire show followed by Swanee and Charlie B at 8 p.m. Another fire show takes place at 9 p.m followed by a narrated dance demonstration with Blackfoot Medicine Speaks at 9:15 p.m. A fire show takes place at 10:15 p.m. followed by The Steadies. The countdown to 2020 begins at 11:45 p.m. with a pyrotechnics show.

Other activities in Banff include the Lil Toots Train by Banff Avenue and Caribou Street from 7-9:30 p.m. From 7-10:30 p.m. a fat bike course and hot chocolate and entertainment by Entangled Puppetry will be running by Banff and Caribou. Blackfoot Medicine Speaks will be by Banff Avenue and Elk Street.

Outdoor games will be available from 7-10 p.m., and Isabelle La Wonderful and free skate rentals will be at the skating rink. A Roam warming station and marshmallows will be available by the Spaghetti Factory from 7 p.m. to midnight.

The night ends with a pyrotechnic display at the Banff High School field.

Banff Avenue between Elk and Caribou will be closing at midnight on Tuesday (Dec. 31) and reopening on Wednesday (Jan. 1) to accommodate for the event's activities.

Alice in Wonderland NYE Gala at the Rimrock Resort Hotel

The Queen of Hearts is ordering guests to jump down the rabbit hole and spend New Year’s Eve in Wonderland.

The night includes a family-friendly buffet and duelling piano kings to help guests dance the night away.

Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner service at 7 p.m.

Adults are $135, ages 13-17 $105, ages 6-12 $70 and children five and under are $45.

Torchlight Parade at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge

Specially trained torch bearers put on a nighttime show for the guests of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge from 7-7:15 p.m.

Welcome to the Roaring 20’s New Year’s Party at the Rose and Crown Banff

Holding its annual New Year’s Eve bash, the Rose and Crown will be featuring special on-stage entertainment JG and the District spinning funk, soul, R&B and dance tunes for the evening.

A $110 ticket includes entry at 6:30 p.m. with a gourmet three-course meal and guaranteed seating. A $60 ticket includes entry at 9 p.m.

New Year’s Eve with the dancing Sasquatch

Tickets are $90, but a VIP bottle service package can be added by request by emailing [email protected]. The night includes a DJ, party favours and champagne cocktail.

A Very Dope New Year’s Eve Party at Nourish Bistro Banff

Doors open at 10:30 p.m. The night includes $10 cocktails, $5 Siding 14 craft beers, $8 Canmore Brewing tallboys and Beyond Meat hotdogs.

General admission is $20 and $15 for Ski Big 3 staff or with local employment ID. Admission is $10 after midnight.

Bill's New Year's Eve Bash!

Will Bill’s Legendary Saloon will be ringing in the New Year bull riding, karaoke and drink specials all night. Cover is $5.

High Rollers New Year’s Party

The party begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $30.

New Year’s Eve Party at Elk and Oarsman Kitchen and Bar

Live music begins at 9:30 p.m. with Andy Loops and the full menu is available until 11 p.m. There is no cover and minors are allowed in until 10 p.m.

The Storm Cellar New Year’s Eve Party!

Come and ring in the New Year at the Storm Cellar Blacklight NYE party 2019. There is no cover, no tickets, free champagne toast at midnight and cheap drink specials.

New Year’s Extravaganza at the Banff Legion

Kicking the night off with Cole Routledge from 8-9:30 p.m., the Banff Legion will be welcoming 2020 with music to help dance the night away.

The Hot Tamales featuring Baker/Beatty and special guest Jeff Naffin will ring in the New Year beginning at 10 p.m. until close.

Tickets are $20 and include a light show, party favours and cheap champagne.

Shadowplay NY’s at the Kananaskis Lodge

Rocking from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. the Shadowplay Trio will be performing at the Fireside Moments, at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge for New Year's Eve.

'80s Themed NYE Party at the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino

The Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino will be handing out prizes and giveaways throughout the night. Games include Spin the Wheel, Hot Seats, Mystery Envelopes and prizes for best dressed in '80s theme. One Player Rewards member will have a chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas and enjoy a champagne toast at midnight. The Hawaiian Luau buffet is $36.95.

Snowshoe Under the Stars at Lake Louise Ski Resort and Summer Gondola

Tickets are $69 per person and include a snowshoe rental, guided tour and snacks.

The night begins at the Guides Cabin at 6:00 p.m. At 6:15 pm the tour departs once everyone has their gear. The tour finishes between 8-8:30 p.m.

Explorers Lounge NYE 2020 Bash

Ring in the New Year at Explorers Lounge NYE Bash. Featuring live music from Ferny Turnbull and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. No Cover, 18+.

Rocky Mountain New Year's Eve at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Summer Gondola

Enjoy a spectacular buffet supper, cash bar, night snow tubing followed by a dance party with One Nite Band right until midnight. The night finishes off with a champagne toast and includes party favours and complimentary shuttles included with your ticket.

The New Year’s celebrations take place at the Lodge of Ten Peaks, Lake Louise Ski Resort. All ages are welcome and guests are encouraged to dress mountain casual or dress to impress.

Tickets are General Admission (13+): $69, Youth Admission (6-12): $39 Child Admission (0-5): Free and Dance Only (6+): $23.81.

Fairmont Banff Springs New Year’s Eve Gala 2019

The Van Horne Ballroom will be transformed to usher in the New Year. Executive Chef Robert Ash has prepared a four-course meal for guests to enjoy as Barry Shaw and The Fairmont Banff Springs Orchestra play in the background.

Children ages six through twelve may attend the New Year's Kids Party starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets: adults - $350 for the dinner and dance, $185 dance only, teens 13-17 years - $190 dinner and dance, $105 dance only and children - $185 dinner and dance.

Mt. Norquay Torchlight Parade

At 7 p.m. guests in the Banff town looking towards Mt Norquay Ski Resort Banff will be able to see the annual New Year’s Eve Parade.
