MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF BIGHORN NO. 8

Take notice that the following development permits for the proposed uses listed below have been approved by the Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8:

1. Setback Relaxation for the Existing Wastewater Treatment Facility located in the Hamlet of Exshaw (SW 23-024-09 W5M) by reducing the Setbacks from 300 meter to 180 meter.
2. N.D. No. 54/22 - For Visitor Accommodation Units with Amenity Space Development with

2.7m maximum Height Relaxation Variance located at Lot 1, Block 24, Plan 170KJ (950 Harvie Heights Road), within the Hamlet of Harvie Heights.

3. N.D. No. 33/23 - For a larger Factory-Built Dwelling (56ft X 12ft) as replacement for the Existing Factory Built Dwelling with Front Yard Setback Variance, and for a Hay Storage Shelter (as Replacement for an Existing Storage Shelter at the North End of the Property) with Front Yard Setback Variance located at NW-SEC.26-TWP.24-RGE.8-W5M

4. N.D. No. 45/23 – For Renewal of a Bed and Breakfast (Two Accommodation Units) within a Dwelling (3-Year Term) and request for Wet Bar located at Lot 57, Block 7, Plan 151 3129 (119 River’s Bend Way), within the Hamlet of Dead Man’s Flats

The above-mentioned permits shall not come into effect until 21 days from the date this advertisement is displayed. Further information regarding these permits may be obtained from the MD of Bighorn No. 8 Municipal Office at 673-3611 or 233-7678 (Calgary Direct Line).

Any person wishing to appeal a decision may do so by filing a written notice of appeal, outlining the reasons for the appeal, within 21 days to the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, Municipal District of Bighorn, Box 310, Exshaw, Alberta T0L 2C0. The applicable fee must be submitted with the appeal letter.
