The Bow Valley will be represented by 49 young athletes at the 2024 Alberta Winter Games in Grande Prairie this weekend (Feb. 16 to 19).

The credit union is trying to appeal to those who “want more control over their lives” and finances, including people with “different” perspectives and values who have felt excluded by mainstream banks.

Editor: It is clear safety concerns with respect to the proposed pedestrian zone are of tantamount importance, a factor that has been cavalierly mostly ignored by the majority of our council.

“I believe all of those projects and budgets are completely worthwhile all the way from free local transit for residents to three hybrid electric buses, the Mountain Avenue transit lane, e-bike rebates and more frequency on our local and regional Canmore routes. … It’s going to help us continue to enhance and strengthening our sustainable transportation network.”
