Editor: It is amusing to contrast the Rocky Mountain Outlook’s front page headline, Richards waffles on valley election forums, and the weekly political cartoon, versus the Vox Populi letters.

Editor: It is not too late to get involved and provide input into the new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) proposed for Canmore.

Editor: I have been reading the articles about bears with a heavy heart. First I am going to say that I believe that these days, a fed bear is indeed a dead bear.

Editor: In the run up to long-range plans for the national parks ski areas the Canadian public is being wooed by proponents with some new buzzwords – “football fields.

Editor: One has to seriously challenge the sincerity of the Town of Banff’s desire to deal with traffic flow and congestion when it strangles the busiest thoroughfare in town with the ill-conceived and totally unnecessary greenway.

Editor: I’m a small-c-conservative, and since the Conservative Party doesn’t practise true conservatism, there are no good options for me in the upcoming federal election.
