Incumbent Conservative Party candidate Blake Richards has been re-elected as Banff-Airdrie's representative in the House of Commons

Wanting to change the colonial way history can be represented in museums, specifically with the historic "outdated and inappropriate" photo captions, the Stoney Nakoda Nation, consisting of three bands, Wesley, Chiniki and Bearspaw, was invited to work with the Whyte Museum archival staff to identify family members and friends.

The last family that lived in the house was his grandparents in the 90s before a new house became available for them to live in and the home became completely abandoned, leaving much of the original furniture, knickknacks and potential ghosts.

Learning self-confidence, communication skills and getting out of their comfort zones was a common theme of the 19 graduates who took part in the second Bearspaw Empowerment Employment Program ( graduation at the Bearspaw Youth Centre at the end of September

A variety of topics were up for debate at the Cochrane Alliance Church, ranging from alternative energy, climate change, gender pronouns, free speech, pharmacare and equalization payments in Canada

"This is the year of Indigenous language ... and if we lose it, we lose it. We keep it active by speaking it all the time. Language is connected to culture and identity and if language is missing, it is hard to connect to your culture and identity."
