Editor: I attended the Monday (Feb. 10) Town of Banff Council meeting. I had intended to speak about my concerns regarding Caribou Properties’ proposed staff housing complex, in the 400 block of Beaver Street.

Editor: A month ago, Jan Tafel wrote a letter to the editor about two Canmore staff members filling a poo bag dispenser (vs. one staff member) and asked, “Is this why taxes are increased for 2014?” I see it quite differently.

Editor: On Tuesday, Jan. 28 we found ourselves in trouble when our car slipped into a ditch on Spray Lakes road. Two Jeep owners came to our rescue and without them we two seniors would have been in big trouble.

Editor: I feel the need to respond to Kara Townsend’s letter of last week, in which she takes issue with the fact the Outlook recently reported on property prices rebounding in the valley. Ms.

Editor: Thank you to the Good Samaritans who stopped Friday (Jan. 20) night and helped my son who lost control on black ice near Lac des Arcs and ended up in the ditch.
