I visited your lovely town on March 12. While I was walking down Main Street enjoying the wonderful hospitality of your town with my daughter, I came across several posters created by local school children.

Editor: I am a home owner in Canmore. The green spaces and mountain environment were the most important and desirable factors for my husband and I to purchase our retirement home in the Rockies.

Editor: Recently, the people of Canmore have not been very successful in having our voices heard by council, but we need to try again at the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) public hearing on March 22, at 6 p.m.

Editor: Thank you for sharing the excellent news about the labour and delivery room expansion. My heartfelt thanks to the family for this generous donation.

Editor: Parks Canada’s policy to increase visitation by two per cent per year and to enhance visitor experience is totally irrational and illogical.

Editor : It is not often that I am motivated to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper.

Editor: Re: What’s the cost of free passes? RMO page 20, Feb 18. “We flush toilets for 25,000 a day on a tax base of 9,000 people” – good one former mayor Stutz. Canadians should be getting used to this.

Editor: The most valuable lesson I learned at art school was an unexpected gift in my first year. In the morning, a professor had assigned us to choose a partner and create a large-scale pencil-drawing portrait of each other.

Editor: If passenger rail service is being considered for the Bow Valley, then it seems to me that one or two stops in Morley en route to Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise would be wonderful.

Editor: Regarding the letters to the editor of Sheila Donaldson, Margaret Boyle and Helen Krizan, I extend my apologies regarding a quote on the aesthetics of the Sacred Heart Church building.
